Lord Hanuman gets notice from railways over ‘encroachment’. What happened next

The Indian Railways initially served Lord Hanuman with a notice for allegedly encroaching on public property in the Morena area of Madhya Pradesh, but then withdrew the notice. According to news agency PTI, the warning sent on February 8 threatens that if the Hanuman temple is not removed from the encroached land within seven days, the district administration will take action to have it destroyed. The notice further adds that Lord Hanuman will reimburse the costs incurred for demolishing buildings constructed on encroached property. The message was scrawled on the wall of the temple. The railways corrected the error and issued a fresh one in the name of the temple priest after it went viral on social media and caused a stir.
